Monique Liarakos (nee Buchanan) is the creative lead behind  Mala Collaborate Manitoba Initially started as a custom meditation jewellery hobby, the collaborate has evolved into offerings of Reiki, Chakra Healing, Oracle Readings, Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness. Each collaboration with organizations and individuals informs and enriches the next. Monique is a nurse by profession, a yoga teacher and Reiki Master by passion. As a mixed race,  fat feminist, Monique believes in embracing all people on their journey of self-discovery and healing recognizing the intersections of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, size, age, ability, socioeconomic status, mental and physical health.
